Been a while since i've done a small prop, so i decided to model and sculpt this fire hydrant with the intent to further develop texturing skills in substance painter. I also took the opportunity to render in UE5 with lumen.
All modelling done in Maya, then taken into ZBrush for boolean workflow and simple sculpted damages. These sculpted elements aren't too visible in the final renders, but they influenced the curvature for the edge wear in Substance Painter. All paint peeling was achieved with painted edgewear and utilising anchor paints to mask the edges where i could simulate height.
