Twin Stinger

Another quick weapon prop i've spent approximately 2 weeks on, based again on concept art and final in-game renders for Final Fantasy VII Remake.
In-between larger environment pieces I wanted to get some more practice in with sculpting and texturing high-poly assets, while trying out some new workflows between Maya, Zbrush and Substance painter. I settled on this 'Twin Stinger' design which incorporated some more complex shapes and areas well-suited for sculpting, as well as some interesting texturing.

The final Low-Poly model came in at 16,258 verts, the majority of which was spent on the winged guard and fang shapes to smooth out the curves in a more pleasant way, and utilising one 4k texture set.
