Aerith's Room
My interpretation of Aerith's childhood room at Shinra HQ, based on the Final Fantasy VII Remake concept art and final designs in-game.
All assets in the scene were modelled, sculpted and textured by me with the aim of producing a full game-ready environment in Unreal Engine 5. To achieve this, the majority of assets followed a mid-poly workflow with a few high to low poly exceptions (Cactuar, Staff and Flower). I also used this scene to experiment with various FX such as dust particles and candlelight along and decorating with normal-based decals to maintain simple modular wall/floor set with plenty of variation possibilities
This piece serves as my Final Term project for the Vertex Schools Game Arts program and would like to thank my mentor, Jacob Claussen for his guidance and my fellow students for their ongoing help and feedback throughout the course.
